IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HAVE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION SKILLS DONE BECAUSE YOU PURCHASED THE VIDEOS FROM AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION TO DO THE BLENDED ELEARNING WAY AND YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A "SKILLS" CLASS TO DO YOUR SKILLS ON AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATIONS WEBSITE, THERE IS NO LONGER AN OPTION TO POST A "SKILLS" CLASS. THEY ARE NOW LISTED UNDER NORMAL CLASSES, BUT LISTED AS THE "BLENDED LEARNING" INSTEAD OF "CLASSROOM." THIS IS NOW THE SKILLS CLASS OPTION.  I CAN DO SKILLS BY APPOINTMENT, THEREFORE YOU CAN JUST CALL THE OFFICE AT 518-792-6146 TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.

***SCHEDULING, RESCHEDULING, REFUND, AND CANCELLATION POLICIES*

**UPDATED 6/13/25 PLEASE READ**

 When you call to schedule an in person class, I will ask you for the following:

1. Your name
2. Your email address
3. Your phone number
4. Debit/Credit card information for the "no show/cancellation" policy. THIS IS NOT FOR PAYMENT. Please have this ready when you call. This is what actually reserves your seat in the class. If you do not have your card at your disposal, your seat will not be reserved until you call back with it. ALSO, if you are calling to enroll you with a PLUS 1, you are responsible for there payment IF THEY DO NOT SHOW UP for the class OR they cancel for the class you signed them up for. If you DO NOT want to be responsible for them, please have them call themselves. 

WHAT IS THE "NO SHOW/CANCELLATION" POLICY?

Students who call to cancel the class they registered for, 14 days before there class will be charged for 50% of the class they registered for. Students who cancel less that 48 hours of the class you registered for, failure to attend, 10 minutes or more late, or for failing to complete the online portion for blended learning classes, will be charged the full price of the class you registered for. Rescheduling requests must be made in advance, but will also lead to a charge of your original class PLUS a $40 rebooking fee. If for some reason I need to cancel a class due to illness you will be notified via email OR text message, and I will follow up to reschedule you. If you have a valid emergency, I will reschedule you at no cost. However if it happens to be a blended class and you did NOT complete the online portion, the $40 rescheduling fee will apply. Please show up 10 minutes early for class to do paperwork and payment for the class so we can start on time. If you show up 10 minutes or later after the class has started you will NOT be allowed into the class. If you decide to reschedule, you will be charged the $40 rebooking fee. 

 All classes will start at the scheduled time! Please be respectful, as you maybe holding up other students who did show up on time. My classes are based on appointments which in return would cause me to start my next class late, and that isn't fair to them. Any student who enrolls in the wrong class, will be offered one opprotunity to enroll in the correct class, and you will be held responsible for the cost of that class as well. No call/no shows will NOT be given a refund. If you become sick, please contact me ASAP.  You will NOT be penalized for being sick.   

Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM. If you do get the answering machine during business hours, I am either in the middle of a class and can't get to the phone, or out of the office teaching. So please leave me a message so I can get back to you.  

Upcoming Classes:  All upcoming classes are held at 11 Broad Street, Union Square Building, lower level, Glens Falls. You MUST call to register. 518-792-6146. If you don't see a date, time, OR class here that fits your needs, please give us a call to see if we can accomodate you.   

ALSO, IF AN IN-PERSON CLASS DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU, WE OFFER BLENDED TRAINING AS WELL WHERE YOU CAN DO VIDEOS AT HOME, THEN YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT JUST FOR THE HANDS ON PORTION TO AVOID AN ENTIRE CLASS.

PRICE MATCH FOR MY BLS CLASSES. IF YOU FIND A BASIC LIFE SUPPORT CLASS WITH ANOTHER "BUSINESS" AND THE COST IS CHEAPER THAN MINE, I WILL PRICE MATCH THAT PRICE, AND "GIVE" YOU YOUR CPR POCKET MASK FREE TO KEEP YOUR BUSINESS. MUST SHOW PROOF OF THE PRICE YOU WERE QUOTED. CAN NOT BE AN INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTOR. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE COSTS THAT A BUSINESS HAS.
